How Wesal Charity Organization is led, controlled, and held accountable.

Legal standing

Wesal Charity Organization is a public-benefit nonprofit corporation formed under the Wyoming Nonprofit Corporation Act (W.S. 17-19-101 et seq.), incorporated on February 1, 2026 (Filing ID 2026-001882309). Its Articles of Incorporation dedicate all assets to exempt charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Federal EIN: 41-4036172.

Leadership

Mohamed Aldanaf — Founder & Executive Director. As incorporator and authorized representative, he leads day-to-day operations, program delivery, and financial oversight. The organization is actively recruiting additional independent directors to broaden governance.

Financial controls

  • The organization is the sole merchant of record for all donations.
  • Restricted (designated) gifts are accounted for separately and used only for their stated purpose.
  • Documented procurement, authorization, and disbursement procedures apply to all spending.
  • Card payments are handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1); no card data touches our systems.

Accountability & policies

We maintain and publish policies covering privacy, donations and refunds, anti-money-laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC), safeguarding and child protection, whistleblowing, a code of ethics, and conflict of interest. We do not conduct anonymous, peer-to-peer, or third-party fundraising, and we never solicit funds for named individuals.

Tax status

Our federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt determination is in progress. Until it is granted, contributions are not represented as tax-deductible in the United States.
